What is Community Policing?
Community policing is simply the involvement of
the local members of the communities in the
security matter of their immediate environment.
It is the general mobilization of the people of
all cadres – the youths, the adults, organized
groups, working class, traders, artisans,
retirees etc in engaging them to be actively
involved in finding solutions to security
problems within their immediate environment, by
ensuring that they are vigilant in observing
