The God That Delivered Them in The Past Shall Deliver You Today
Rest assured that as he did for those in The Bible days
and those who testified, he will surely do the same for
you and your family in the name of Jesus.
Isaiah 61:1-2 says, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon
me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good
tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the
brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and
the opening of the prison to them that are bound. To
proclaim the acceptable year of The Lord, and the day of
vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn”. Just
as God anointed Jesus, he will equally do same for the
pastor to prophesy your deliverance. Jesus is still
alive and you will be delivered in Jesus name.
John 10:10b says, “I come that they might have life, and
that they might have it more abundantly”.
John 8:36 says, “If the Son therefore shall make you
free, ye shall be free indeed”. Jesus is the way. He is
the solution. He is the deliverer.
Our response should be to give our lives to Jesus Christ
and call on him for our deliverance and He will deliver
every one in Jesus name!
John 14:28 says, “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I
go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye
would rejoice, because I said, I go unto
the Father: for my Father is greater than I.” Will you
come to Jesus Christ and not to church as most people
do?
Luke 19:10 says, “For the Son of man is come to seek and
to save that which was lost”. Jesus is looking out for
you, will you submit to his authority and make him your
Lord and personal Saviour and He will give you eternal
life.
Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but
the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord”. All you need to do to receive your deliverance
and freedom is to give your life to Jesus and He will
give you eternal life and all the blessings of heaven.
John 15:5 says, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He
that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth
forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”.
Without Jesus in your life, you can do nothing.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He
gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
Him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. And
John 1:12 says, “But as many as received him, to them
gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on His name”. If only you will believe now,
He will give you the power to be known and called the
child of the Kingdom.
1 John 3:8-10 says, “He that committeth sin is of the
devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For
this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He
might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born
of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in
him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In
this the children of God are manifest, and the children
of the
devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth
not his brother”. Any that continue in sin is a child of
the devil and any who has the Spirit of God in him or
her cannot be led into sin by the same Spirit.
Therefore, a sinner is not a Christian and a Christian
is not a sinner.
Maybe you are now asking ‘what is sin?’ 1 John 5:17a
says, “All unrighteousness is sin” which means all
unrighteousness is sin. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 says, “Know
ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the
Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators,
nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor
abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor
covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners,
shall inherit the Kingdom of God”.
All that are into one form of sin or the other should
repent and be saved. Do not cover as Proverbs 28:13
says, “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but
whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy”.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed
away; behold, all things are become new”. And Matt. 6:33
says also, “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and
his righteousness; and all these things shall be added
unto you”. You become a new creation of God and in
addition you will be delivered from all your troubles.
The same God shall bless you in all things.

Things We Must Do in order Not To Offend God
Exodus 20:12-17, “Honour thy father and thy mother: that
thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy
God giveth thee. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not
commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not
bear false witness against thy neighbour. Thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy
neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his
maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that
is thy neighbour’s.”
1 Corinthians 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous
shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:
neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor
effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Nor
thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”
Romans 13:9-10, “For this, Thou shalt not commit
adultery. Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal,
Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet;
and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly
comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy
neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his
neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”
James 2:11-13, “For he that said, Do not commit
adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no
adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a
transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they
that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall
have judgement without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy;
and mercy rejoiceth against judgement.”
Leviticus 19:11-12, “Ye shall not steal, neither deal
falsely, neither lie one to another. And ye shall not
swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the
name of thy God: I am the LORD.”
Galatians 5:19-21, “Now the works of the flesh are
manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatory, witchcraft,
hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions,
heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings,
and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have
also told you in time past, that they which do such
things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
Ephesians 5:5-6, “For this ye know, that no whoremonger,
nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an
idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ
and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for
because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the
children of disobedience.”
1 Timothy 1:9-11, “Knowing this, that the law is not
made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and
disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy
and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of
mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that
defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for
liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other
thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; according to
the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was
committed to my trust.”
Acknowledge Your Sins To Become Born Again
1. Acknowledge your sins:- Rom. 3:23, Luke 18:13
Rom. 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God”.
Lk. 18:13, “And the tax collector, standing afar off,
would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but
smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a
sinner”.
2. Repent:- Lk. 13:3, Act 3:19
Lk. 13:3, “I tell you, Nay; but, except you repent, you
shall all likewise perish”.
Act. 3:19, “Repent therefore, and be converted, that
your sins may be blotted out, when the times of
refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord”.
3. Confess:- 1 Jn. 1:9, Rom. 10:9
1 Jn. 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness”.
Rom. 10:9, “That if you shall confess with your mouth
the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God
has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved”.
4. Forsake your old life: Isa.55:7, Prov. 28:13
Isa. 55:7, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the
unrighteous man his
thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will
have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will
abundantly pardon”.
Prov. 28:13, “He that covers his sins shall not prosper:
but whosoever confesses and forsakes them shall have
mercy”.
5. Believe:- Jn. 3:16, Mk. 16:16
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should
not perish, but have everlasting life”.
Mk. 16:16, “He that believes and is baptized shall be
saved, but he that believes not shall be condemned”.
6. Receive Him:- Jn. 1:11-12, Act. 2:38
Jn 1:11-12, “He came unto his own, and his own received
him not.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the children of God, even to them that believe on
his name”.
Act. 2:38, “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit”.
7. Follow Jesus: Jn 14:15, 1Jn 5:3, Mk. 7:21
Jn. 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commandments”.
1 Jn. 5:3, “For this is the love of God, that we keep
his commandments; and his commandments are not
burdensome”.
Mk. 7:21, “For from within, out of the heart of men,
proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications,
murders”.
Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your heart? That
is, are you born again (Jn 3:3)? If your answer is “NO”
or you are not sure, please pray this prayer with all
sincerity and deep confidence.
Lord, Jesus, I come to you today.
I am a sinner, I cannot help myself.
Forgive me my sins.
Cleanse me with your precious blood.
Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve you the living
God.
Today, Lord Jesus; I accept you as my Lord and my
personal saviour.
Cancel my name from the Book of Death, and write my name
in the Book of life.
Thank you, Jesus for saving me.

Love One Another as God Loves Us To Love One Another
John 13:34-35 says, “A new commandment I give unto you,
That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye
also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if
ye have love one to another.”
Beloved, let us love one another for 1 John 4:7a says,
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God;”.
In our just concluded teachings on God’s love and His
forgiveness, we were made to understand that love is one
of the commandments of God, which every believer must
keep (1 John 4:7). We also learnt that we were saved
through love. So we ought to show love to our fellow
believers in the body of Christ (John 3:16 says, “For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.”).
Ways And Manners We Can Show Love To Our Fellow
Christians And Those Of The Same Household
1. Love is a debt every Christian owes to one another
(Rom. 13:8 says, “Owe no man any thing, but to love one
another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the
law”)
2. The character of love: Love works no ill against his
neighbour, brothers and sisters, for Romans 13:10 says,
“Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is
the fulfilling of the law”. And Romans 13:13-14 says,
“Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and
drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in
strife and envying.
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not
provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof”.
3. God’s kind of love: Love suffers long; it is kind; it
is not envious, etc. (1 Cor. 13:4-7) says, “Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not;
charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is
not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all
things, endureth all things”.
4. Love can lead us to suffer for one another without
grudges (Ephesians 5:1 says, “Be ye therefore followers
of God, as dear children;”. Romans 12:9-20 says, “Let love be without dissimulation.
Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly
love; in honour preferring one another;
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the
Lord;
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing
instant in prayer;
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to
hospitality.
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them
that weep.
Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high
things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise
in your own conceits.
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things
honest in the sight of all men.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live
peaceably with all men.
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give
place unto wrath: for it it written, Vengeance is mine;
I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst,
give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of
fire on his head”. And James 5:9-11 says, “Grudge not
one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned:
behold, the judge standeth before the door.
Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the
name of the Lord, for an example of suffering
affliction, and of patience.
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard
of the
patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that
the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy”.
God is love and has shown us the same when He died for
us on the cross of Calvary. This is an example every
believer must follow, for whosoever loveth is born of
God. Love is the greatest weapon which God uses on all
His creatures, and through it, the children of the devil
and the children of God are manifested (1 John 3:7 says,
“Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth
righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous”,
and verse 10-12 says , “In this the children of God are
manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth
not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth
not his brother.
For this is the message that ye heard from the
beginning, that we should love one another.
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his
brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own
works were evil, and his brother’s righteous”. And 1
John 4:11-13 says, “Beloved, if God so loved us, we
ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one
another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected
in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us,
because he hath given us of his Spirit”, and verse 20-21
says, “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother,
he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he
hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also”.

We shall Live by Faith because God calls people and Confirms Them
Romans 1:14-16 says, “I am debtor both to the Greeks,
and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the
unwise.
So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel
to you that are in Rome also.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from
faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by
faith.”
Hebrews 2:3-4 says, “How shall we escape, if we neglect
so great salvation; which at the first began to be
spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them
that heard him;
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and
wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy
Ghost, according to his own will?”.
Galatians 3:11-14 says, “But that no man is justified by
the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The
just shall live by faith.
And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth
them shall live in them.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being
made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that
hangeth on a tree:
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles
through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise
of the Spirit through faith.”
Hebrews 10:38 says, “Now the just shall live by faith:
but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure
in him.”
Acts 17:30 says, “And the times of ignorance God winked
at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:”
The Bible says that all unrighteousness is sin. Confess
and renounce your sins so that God will show you mercy.
In Proverbs 28:13, the scripture emphasizes, “He that
covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso
confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” If
you cover your sins, your enemies will not submit. Do
not be deceived, no matter how good or kind you may be
in giving alms and gifts to people and even working hard
in the things of God, without Christ, you are still a
sinner. Remember that anger, pride, strife, envy,
contention, lesbianism, homosexualism, masturbation,
bribery, covetousness, nagging, lying, occultism,
idolatory, fornication, adultery, drunkenness, smoking,
murder and wearing of dresses that expose your
nakedness, are terrible sins in the sight of God. Except
you renounce and forsake them, you will not make heaven.
1 Cor. 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous
shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:
neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of
themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor
drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit
